Artwork by many student artists will be on display in SUNY Oneonta's Martin-Mullen Art Gallery for the "Annual Student Juried Art Exhibition 2018" in the Fine Arts Center from April 5 to May 12. A reception for the artists along with live music and food is planned for Thursday, April 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. Featured art works were chosen from an open jury process and works entered by the art faculty. Painting, drawing, sculpture, digital print, digital video, and an assortment of mixed media make up this year's offerings. All are invited to attend the reception and the exhibition.

University of Scranton students inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing. For induction into the honor society, students must have completed one half of the nursing curriculum, demonstrated ability in nursing, have a grade point average of 3.0 and rank in the upper one-third of the class. The honor society was founded in 1922.

SUNY New Paltz students will present their research for the "Marking Time: Andy Warhol's Vision of Celebrations, Commemorations, and Anniversaries" exhibition at the Dorsky Museum.

The SUNY Potsdam Department of Theatre and Dance is gearing up to present its spring mainstage production, "Venus," by the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks, which will run from March 20 to 25 in the Performing Arts Center.

Nine students from The State University of New York at Potsdam recently traveled to Belize, as part of a two-week field course focusing on tropical ecology and conservation.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

More than 300 students met requirements for graduation from SUNY Oneonta following the Fall 2017 semester. Graduates were honored at a December recognition ceremony hosted by College President Nancy Kleniewski and held in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 5,500 undergraduates have qualified for the fall 2017 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and nations.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

A total of 1,555 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Fall 2017 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.
